As a community-driven, 100% plant-based, educational cooking program, our team at Natural Nibbles has a craving for teaching the healthful preparation of plant-based meals! Our aim is to bridge the gap between food and faith for our community and students alike.
With interactive approach to learning, we teach students to mastering cooking techniques from plating and knife skills to baking basics. Understanding these cooking skills makes this everyday task that much more interesting! Whether its our series-long classes or our donation-based classes, each group is guided with an informative presentation and one-on-one attention. All students are equipped with individualized cooking utensils so the experience is unforgettable and can always be duplicated at home.
Pairing a full introduction to core methods for cooking vegetables, grains, legumes, as well as meat and dairy alternatives with around-the-world flavor profiles will have you excited for more. Our core curriculum covers advanced raw techniques, health supportive cooking with no oil, low sodium, and gluten free options. Know that the Natural Nibbles team is dedicated to seeing that each individual leaves with new light on the art of healthful cooking and appreciation for plant-based meals. We aim to bridge the gap between food for optimal health and the Creator of this lifestyle.

It’s one of those cold days in NYC where you neeed something tasty and dense to warm your bones! 🤣

This was made by roasting large wedges of pumpkin with slices of carrots. While they roast, sautée some onions, crush some garlic, and some ginger for added spice. Season with some sea salt.

Add roasted pumpkin, carrots, as well as sautéed onions, garlic, and ginger to the pot with water or vegetable stock. Let cook for about 20 minutes. If you would like it puréed, use hand mixer until desired texture.
